Thomas was ready to do almost anything to get his life back to normal. He didn’t care how much money he needed to spend. He stayed within his home and continued to call people in a desperate search for help. They tried calling anyone that could help them with their war against the farmer. Just when it seemed like no one was coming to save Thomas, and he was about to hang up the phone for the last time, his prayers were miraculously answered.

A local councilperson called Sylvia Liddle learned of Thomas’s situation and came to help him take back his land and freedom. It was hard not to feel for the young man, and she had reacted strongly to Thomas and Rebekah’s tale of woe. She was now committed to doing anything in her power, and beyond, to help the couple. She had become a member of the local council to ensure that her community was a happy one. To start things off, Sylvia would need to witness this fence, personally.
