The investigator eventually arrived at the property and began taking notes while assessing the fence. The official then informed Thomas and Sylvia that his next step involved reading through the relevant land dispute documents before getting back to them at a later stage. Thomas was feeling hopeful once more, but he was not going to declare this a victory so soon. He was committed to patiently awaiting the investigator’s response. A few days later, Thomas nervously picked up the ringing phone.

Thomas was informed that the fence’s construction was illegal as it had been erected on land that had been formerly in possession of Persimmon Homes. Thomas was overjoyed at the new development. He now had the legal and righteous authority needed to break the fence down. The authorities were finally behind him, and it was revealed that the farmer was breaking the law! Thomas could finally carry out his plan, one that he had been hatching for some time now.
