There are many “rules of thumb” that everyone should be aware of and one of these include giving up one’s seat to someone who needs it more than you do. We refer to looking out for people such as the elderly, pregnant women, and the disabled who would find it more difficult to stand for an entire ride. We could be sure you will automatically be placed in the bad books if you didn’t willingly give up your seat to a needy person. After all, if someone requests the seat, you can at least consider their plea.

They Asked Nicely
The boy was approached three times by three different people asking for a seat so someone could sit. However, he rudely ignored their request and kept on playing games on his phone. Aside from being a major problem, people found another irritating thing playing out in front of them – the mother was there and not saying anything about it. The least she should have done was reprimand him for being rude to the adults who needed the seat.
