Showing Disrespect
Being in public transit opens the possibility for you to contact people from all different types of backgrounds and with so many different types of attitudes. You will come across people who, once they are seated, the seat next to them are taken up with their belongings. At the same time, some people would willingly give up their seats to someone else who may need them more. There may be others who play their music so loud without earphones or others who have their phone conversations for hours while being pretty loud just the same. We all would desire a quiet and peaceful trip, but it’s the other passengers that will determine such an outcome.

No Tolerance for Rudeness
It is annoying when people ride public transportation and feel they are above everyone else and take the next available seat beside them. The worse part of the whole thing is that other needing passengers are denied the seat, which causes more frustration. We have heard or seen instances where people literally stretch their legs across a second seat to keep people away. That by itself is bad, but where it gets off limits is when someone needs the seat but disrespectfully denies it.
