16. Use A Kool-Aid To Find Toilet Leaks
If you suspect that you have a toilet leak, finding it may just cost you a 20-cent Kool-Aid packet. Simply discard the Kool-Aid pack into the toilet tank deck, and ensure that you use a dark-colored pack. To allow the Kool-Aid to do its work, give it approximately 30 minutes, and if you return and find the same color as the Kool-Aid in your bowl, you can be sure you have a leak. It is important to avoid flushing the toilet until the Kool-Aid has done its work.
