A Little Consideration
Emily had kept her calm during this otherwise heated debate. She told Tanya that she could happily play within their own boundary of the yard area, but that they should be considerate and not infringe on her home’s boundary. Tanya did not seem too pleased with Emily’s ultimatum, to put it mildly, and left without saying a word. If Emily thought that she had cleared things up, she would live to rue the day that she had not been firmer with Tanya.

Things seemed to have defused before they exploded. Or so Emily thought, until one startling morning where she was awoken by blasting music. Emily ground her teeth as she got up to look out her window that faced out onto the yard. There, to her horror, she saw a sizeable family shindig erupting on the entirety of their shared lawn. Emily could not believe the boldness of her neighbor. How could Tanya organize such a disruptive event without even telling Tanya, let alone asking her?
